Salary: 7,000 AED per month (Part Time Job)
Duration of contract: Short term contracts (6 months) – extendable.

Cultural Guide Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Emirati nationals to join our team who are passionate about sharing their history, family stories and knowledge of Emirati culture and traditions with visitors from all over the world.
Job Description
As a Cultural Guide, you will play a pivotal role in providing engaging and informative experiences to visitors, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and history of our destination. Your passion for culture, strong communication skills, and ability to connect with diverse audiences will contribute to creating memorable and educational experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Cultural Tours: Conduct guided tours of cultural sites, landmarks, museums, or historical areas, providing visitors with insightful information about the significance, history, and cultural context of each location. Engage visitors through storytelling and interactive presentations to enhance their understanding and appreciation of the local culture.
- Educational Presentations: Develop and deliver educational presentations or workshops that delve deeper into specific aspects of local culture, such as traditions, art, architecture, cuisine, or customs. Adapt the content and delivery style to suit the needs and interests of different groups, including tourists, students, or corporate clients.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the visitors’ journey. Anticipate and address visitor needs, answer questions, and handle inquiries or concerns in a professional manner. Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the warmth and hospitality of the local culture.
- Safety and Logistics: Ensure the safety and well-being of visitors during cultural tours or activities. Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures, adhere to safety guidelines.
- Knowledge Expansion: Stay updated with current cultural trends and local events to continuously enhance your knowledge base. Attend workshops or educational programs to deepen your understanding of the local culture and heritage and integrate new insights into your guided experiences.
Requirements:
- Strong passion for local culture, history, and heritage.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and proficiency in English with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Experience in public speaking, storytelling, or conducting guided tours is desirable.
- Flexibility to work across museum operational hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Ability to adapt to different environmental conditions, such as outdoor settings or crowded spaces, while ensuring visitor safety.
- Cultural or tourism-related certifications, training, or degrees are advantageous.
